Mood: Disturbingly bored... almost to death. Almost.

Okay, so I got out of Anthro discussion and didn't want to go back home, so I came to Alexia's history class, hoping to increase my understanding of history as a self-reflecting subject in the nothingness that is life. Well, not really. I came because I didn't have anything else to do (and I already knew I'd be bored).

In case you're wondering what Alexia's studying (only Virginal Maria would know herself why you would wonder such a thing), I'll type a little bit of what's being taught (my notes will be shown in parentheses like so):

The 1830s: Change and Motion

Main Point: The immigrants who arrived in the US in the early 19th century found a society undergoing profound change. (...duh?)

(*The professor reads quotes like he's reading the Gospel for a mass service.*)

(*Time passes by, ever slowly*)

Romanticism
Reason is limited, truth can also come from self awareness [...]

Okay, this is stupid; you get the point. Down to the real topic of this blog: children. Hmm, what's the best way to say this? Mmm fine, I'll just bluntly let it out.

I have a daughter with my boyfriend that I never knew about (never knew about the daughter, not the bf. Ambiguous wording, I know). Now you tell me, how does that work? Hella weird story with super long details, so I'll add that later. Just an update of how things are going.

UPDATED (Nov 28, 2008): Boyfriend is now ex-boyfriend, and the daughter was some three-ish-year old from a dream. Since I think of dreams as a window of our unconscious, and perhaps a possible forewarning of the future, it was a little unnerving to wake up thinking I had a kid I didn't know about. Current status of the child: doesn't really matter.
